Work, family, chores, and school? Most of us procrastinate sometimes, but some of us let procrastination determine our lives. With the semester underway and midterms approaching, procrastination could put you behind or worse, you could end up with a failing grade.

Do you have trouble getting started?

  • Start with a small step.
  • Stick to a schedule.
  • Use a mentor.
  • Reward yourself!

Are you a perfectionist or afraid of failure?

  • Don’t go solo (work with others).
  • Set small goals.
  • Make time for success.

But I work best under pressure!

  • Set your own deadlines.
  • Stick to your schedule.
  • Leave time for review.

Are you too busy?

  • Determine how many credit you can handle before registering for classes.
  • Include your classes/assignments in your daily calendar.
  • Use a to-do list.
